 Timeline of Activities Leading up to Event Day
for Corporate Outings & Tournaments

Thank you for considering Starfire to host your next Golf Tournament or Group Outing.  All of our outings are assigned a Tournament Coordinator to assist you with the event from implementation to completion. Our professional staff is ready to address your needs with our highest level of customer service.

Activities Timeline

First Things First

  • Choose the date of your event
  • Assess your food & beverage needs
  • Estimate the number of players

·                    Contract signed and returned to The Tournament Club

            at  Starfire.

 

·                    Deposit remitted with contract or within ten days of the

            contract date.

 

·                     Determine skill contest holes, as soon as possible,

         so you can sell contest & hole sponsorships.

 

·                    30 days prior to the event date ... a meeting with the 

            event coordinator and  Tournament Club staff takes

            place to start defining the details for the event.

 

·                    10 days prior to the event date ... a headcount

             confirmation request is emailed  to the event 

             coordinator. The confirmation needs to be returned

             7 days prior to the event. 

 

·                    4 days prior to the event date ... your pairings list needs

            to be provided to the Tournament Sales Director,

            along with your logo. Minor last minute updates can

            occur and will be accommodated.

 

·                    The day before the event ... sponsor signs and banners

             need to be delivered to the golf course to allow for

             early placement on event day.

 

·                     Event day … some items for consideration

o   Arrival 1½ to 2 hours prior to scheduled lead out time

o   Set up Registration, Mulligan and Raffle ticket sales area

o   Set-up arrival gift area

o   Set-up silent auction area with items & bid sheets

o   Assign photographer location

o   Assign on course raffle sales volunteers

o   Set-up awards table and prizes

o   Complete awards ceremony

o   Silent Auction Close Out

 

·                     After event … some items for consideration

o   Finalize any auction item collections/deliveries

o   Review dates with golf course for next year

o   Final committee meeting – debriefing

o  Send e-mail thank you and survey to players and volunteers

o   Send thank you letters to all sponsors
